We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary Abel (née Clifford), peacefully at Edenballymore Care Home on 25th June 2024.Late of 40 Oakfield Road. May she rest in peace.Beloved wife of Wilfred. Devoted mother of Angela, Brian, Gavin, Eamon and John. A much loved mother-in-law of David, Angela, Natalia, Kerry and Wendy. Loving grandmother to all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The death has taken place of the late Matt Mooney,25th June 2024, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved husband of the late Mary, Bernie and Margaret, loving father of Marie and Patrick, father-in-law of Martin and Gabby, devoted grandfather of Jack and Aaron and dear brother of the late Marie, Kathleen, Ruby, Bertie, Leo, Thomas and Gerry.His remains will be reposing in his home, 2 Clements Court, Waterside, on Wednesday from 2.00pm – 9.00pm and Thursday from 12noon – 4.00pm. He will then be removed from there on Thursday evening at 7.30pm to St Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30 am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
